I have been using 264 b-tips for awhile, but I'm goin to stoke up my wby's this year. Here are a couple pics of why I went to Noslers and started handloading again.
This buck was wounded by an illegal hunter( off the road) on my dad's farm. I spotted him with several does and missed a running shot . I got another shot 10 minutes later, but at a bad angle. Probably wouldn't have shot if he wasn't already hit. The shot hit along the spine from the back, poor bullet expansion, and no real damage beyond enough shock to hold it for a second shot. The buck took another bullet in the neck to anchor it, along with a week old 30 cal hole 2 inches above the sternum. I was so fed up with poor bullet performance I mounted my old reloading equipment and got back into it. While I'm uploading here is another pic from that year, this is my younger brother's buck(the one without anybody beside the deer).
