Really good and informative article Guy, by someone who should know what she's talking about. I found the part about bears sometimes yawning when they're nervous or agitated, interesting, as dogs will do the same thing.

I remember Cheyenne saying the same thing. That it wasn't the bears that lived in her back yard, but that she lived in theirs

My hats off to members here--salmonchaser, Earle, Cheyenne, Bear, Hodgeman, GBflyer, Dr Mike, and Gil---who live in the bears back yard and encounter the Brown and White bears often. I remember the stories salmon chaser told us about his encounters with them while guiding.
