Well, those werent the exact options you were talking about  .... I guess you'll have to evaluate them and let us know how it goes. I'd say about 1/2 a "brick" each should be a good start. Very nice! Ive handled a Henry- pretty impressive and I would like to test drive one of those 22/45's CL

There's a mess of fun in those two pics. I'm interested in how that Henry works out. Look like a blast! I know the 22-45 will be everything you want out of a 22 pistol.

Those are nice. The Henry will be a lot of fun for sure.

Let us know how the Henry does for reliability and accuracy, Fotis. Most of us have handled one at the gun store but not actually shot one.

I disagree 100%!!! I'm interested to get a report about how that Henry handles for you. Mine does not have the octagonal barrel but has a hooded front sight. And the Ruger... well, I am a fan of Rugers. I think, between it and the 22a, you picked the better of the two. Nice grabs on both guns, Fotis!

A man needs a couple of good .22's. Hopefully these will suit your requirements. I've got the .22/45 myself and couldn't ask for a better training pistol.

The thought has crossed my mind more than once, on both of those!

Have fun with them!

Thank you guys. The ruger was a no brainer. As for the Henry I handled all the candidates and that action was so smooth it could not be matched.

Also saw a few videos on Youtube on it and all reviews were positive.

I worked on an older Henry for a friend's son....hated to give it back. Not that you'll need it, but their customer service is the best I have ever encountered, by any company..and that thing is so fun to shoot!!

That was in the reviews when I was researching the henry.
