Got lucky

I was riding around yesterday and stopped at a small gun shop and found the powder I needed.
They had 2 lbs of H4350 and I bought both cans. Not to be selfish but to have enough to see me thru the shortage problem. I usually buy powder in 8lb. kegs but got what I could get.
The owner said he didn't know when he would get any more in and that he hoped the shortage would soon be over but since most of the powder we use is made over seas with all the termoil in the middle east the powder was going for war materials and munitions in his opinion. And now Mr Obama is sending more to arm his friends. :evil:

It is true that most powders are manufactured overseas. However, even powders that are manufactured here in North America are hard to find. It appears that blame for the shortage of components can be laid to the doorstep of Mr. Obama, but it is not because he directly caused these shortages. The threats his administration poses to possession of firearms has driven purchases to levels that could not have been anticipated. Glad you were able to secure some powder.
