YUP no time though to use this rifle, Got to keep on carrying the Lott.

Is that with the new accustock, Pop? That is a great looking rifle!

Finally got my .338 ready to go with .9" and 1.11" groups with the 225AB. I'm getting 2860 with 71.5 gr of IMR4350 and 3.40 OAL

Nope regular stock, but should be ok.

wish you guys would quit posting about these big calibers. got me looking at 375 ruger hawkeye at the gun store safternoon and all i went in for was a can of re22.

Bruce Mc

RL 22 works well in the 338.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM 375! Yummy :p

That is nice. I see they even but a red arrow on the thing so everyone knows which end to point at the target.  I have a tang safety ruger in 338win mag and it shoots well. I like 210gr PAR bullets in it. For ground squirrels I have found 200gr BT work as well and are cheaper. Hope to use it elk hunting next year.

POP, sweet rifle you have there. I love the 338WinMag, it will put a serious whuppin' at most ranges on any north american ungulate game animal. H4350 works real well for me with 200 gr. Accubonds in both my 338 WinMags, an A-Bolt and a Tikka T-3. Enjoy and good shooting!

That is a nice looking rifle for sure. Is it pretty light?

Corey

Just Under 7 lbs.

Fotis,

What glass are you going to mount on her?

Savage strikes again. Accuracy personified. Good rifle. I had an early model with the non adjustable muzzle break. It shot good and killed everything I pulled on. How's your Lott doing? Mine's making the trip this year for the timber. Next year we're visiting you and do'in some goats.

The lott went elk hunting last weekend and will go again this weekend!

POP if you can get your hands on some 200 ET I have been having good luck with 74.5gr. RL-19 Nosler brass (the few winchesters I had that held primers liked this load as well) WLRM, 3.330" Seems to put three under an inch every time. I'm taking off to go hunting again today, but next week I'll get the load development poasted.
