Had an appointment after work today with a surgeon about a mass in my left forearm. After the nurse left after checking my vitals , I saw this sign on the wall. I kinda thought I was at the wrong place.

Never knew you got a spa treatment with one of these😂

Well let’s hope that the issue that’s a cause for concern is rectified ASAP!
It is a piece of metal that apparently has been in there a long time and recently has formed a lump in my forearm. The x-ray has a brite and shiny object on it. There is no entrance scar so no telling how long it’s been in there. End of the month I’ll have it removed.

Ouch is right
Did you identify the piece of metal?
He showed me a ball of goo with a tannish shard of metal imbedded into it. No idea how many years it could have been in there. The forearm got a sore lump late this spring after a good sunburn started to itch. I think all the scratching festered it up.

My appointment was rescheduled to yesterday to have it removed. I was told to leave it covered for 24hrs. Man they put a hole in my forearm.

That reminds me of the operation I had on the 6th of May. Cardiologist tells me I have a 95 percent blockage in the right Carotid. OK I said what do we do. She says we remove the blockage. The surgeon tells me the operation is serious and what he's going to do to correct it. I have the surgery four days later and find out it's one of those surgeries that hurt afterwards. After the bandage is taken off (boy did that hurt) I look at my scar. Nice and long from under my chin to the base of my neck. I'm pronounced all better and find out the blood flow is now 100 percent. Along with that 100 percent comes a whole host of side effects. Apparently your brain doesn't like going from a 6 percent blood flow to 100 percent blood flow. We're getting better, my short term memory is getting back to normal. (That was damn interesting). The funny part is it looks like and attempt was made to decapitate me. The surgeon's assistant says Naaah it's only about a third of the way. geesh---

Good that got your blood flow back to 100% , not sure how long someone would last at 6%.
At least I got most of my vacation projects finished before this.
