OK let's make this quick:
6mm-284
90 gr AccuBond and 59 gr RL 25---------3650 fps! No signs of +P

4 shots Anna's pinky

270 WBY Ultralite
130 AB at 3350 fps

140 AccuBond at 3250 fps

Both about .55" and both shoot same point of impact

What would you use?

Anna with her 7mm-08 100 gr sierra at 2900 fps 50 yards first time with her rifle!

Last 9 shots of the day. Anna with bull elk and full power loads!

270 be 2x10 minox

6mm-284 6.5x20 Viper

FOTIS, awesome shooting, I would surely run that 140 AB buddy. I have a soft spot for that bullet... It's a great performer for sure!

That 6-284 is something to love.

Now, that Anna is a KILLER! Way to go! She must've learned the trade from someone in the know! Great job to both of you!

That 270 looks EXCELLENT buddy. What did you think of the Minox?

Either way, looks like a great day and it seems like there is a dead bull elk in Anna's future for sure. Man, that is too cool! Way to go buddy!

Fotis and Anna

Awesome shooting. You both are ready.

What would you use?

Flip a coin. Either load means meat in the freezer. Anna did very well with her 7mm-08; she is to be complimented. Your 270 WBY and 6mm-.284 are each producing excellent results, that's for certain.

Awesome buddy. That 90AB is a flatliner. I'm right there velocity wise. Just no where close accuracy wise. How does the trajectory look on it and energy?

Outstanding Sir!

I'd say the biggest success is making the time to shoot with your daughter!

The 7-08 is good to go! That's great.

Those other critters.... Dang, you've got a velocity fetish going on! Accuracy isn't too shabby either.

Fotis - you've every reason to be pleased, and I contend that the biggest success is the time with your daughter. Kids grow up fast.

All the best, Guy

That's some excellent shooting. Your goat gun looks to be dialed in very nicely, that is an awesome group. I would reshoot the 270 Wby loads to see if one is better but both are great I would opt for the 140's all else being equal. Excellent shooting Anna must be the purple that makes it group well :)

Scott I adore the minox. Can not thank you enough!

The Ruger #1S did the 2 and 1 thing with a couple of loads I tried. I will be playing with seating depth soon. I sat them out to 3.300 and standard seating is 3.240 so lots of room for playing.

Great shooting, nice rifles, and best of all, time with family.

Can't ask for better in my opinion.

I would say Anna is on her way. She looks like a natural sitting at the bench. Looks like the gun fits her perfectly. The scope eye relief looks real good too. Looks like ya all had a real good range day all the way around. The .270 Bee makes me drooool.

I am glad you like it, I think I have 4-5 of the 2-10's and 3 of the 3x9's and I can't find much better for my money. Some folks don't like the longer eye relief, but once you get them set up for your eyes, they have treated me very well. Thinking of another 1.5x8 to put on my Grandpa's 300 Savage.

Were you running RL25 in your 7mm Fotis. I went back through yesterday and loaded up a bunch of varying seating depths to see if I can get the AB's to come around. Speed looks excellent on them though. Hoping to get the rifle tuned up for a cousin who is hunting elk with Bill and I this Fall. I really thought RL22 was the ultimate in the 7mm Rem, but 25 is quickly gaining ground to me.

I was running rl22 which is where I always start. Next time RL22 with various seating depth and RL 25

Looks like an excellent day out. The rifle and she both shoot very well. I will bet that dad had almost as much fun. !!!!!
