Interesting, so instead of sharpening, you replace the blade for about $6 per dozen?

I hate sharpening blades, but my brother and one of my hunting buddies is good at it.

How well does it hold up skinning the armor off of hogs?

Interesting concept. However, I sharpen all my own knives and with these I'd have nothing to do after the hunt. :lol:

Bought several of them a few years back and gave them to hunting buddies for Christmas presents. I have one but have never used it. Guess I am too used to sharpening my other knives. I sharpen my knives after each use and they are easy to sharpen and never dull.Rick.

You guys might laugh, but I use a Lowes Folding utility knife for alot of capeing duties. It has extremely sharp replacement blades, which are great for cutting lips and eyes. I do use a regular knife for gutting, if I am going that way and for big cuts while quartering, but have both is a great way for me. With a small pack of extra blades, you can cut alot of hide! I think they are like 15.00 for Lowes and are anodized Aluminum and work excellent. Scotty
