I had not seen this previously. Very dramatic. It is a vivid reminder that nature can be brutal from our perspective. The young female bison put up a good fight, but once the young bear had mounted the rear, there wasn't much doubt how that battle would end.

Refreshingly savage. What a world we are part of, and how much we miss by sequestering ourselves in sanitized little cubes for so much of our lives.

Nature taking its course in real life and death. Not the Bambi make-believe that so many uninformed adhere to. Makes me glad I was not the subject of that bears intentions.

Watching that bison struggle to keep going, to break away... And realizing that I'm nowhere near as strong or fast as a buffalo... Ya, I'm glad that bear wasn't after me!

The bears are so doggone quick with their movements...
