Well the NDP(No Development Party) of BC has caved in and have now ban Grizzly bear hunting in their province. This is another victory for the anti hunters, most of them do not even live in this country !
Next it will be the Polar Bear hunting in the Yukon and North West Territories.
Also there is very big push by the anties to not allow a person living in a city to own even a rifle of shot gun  I am sure that all the criminals in the city will abide by this law .
Not sure where all this is leading but it sure doesn't look good!

Blessings,
Dan

The only hope is that the Grizzlies eat a bunch of them, but you're not likely to be that lucky. Wildlife decisions should not be made by the public, and the public should not really have any input on the subject. A panel of wildlife biologists should make these decisions, with a strong emphasis on keeping hunting open. It is, after all, hunters who fund their salaries (and I realize this is a very Utopian idea). All it takes is one bunny hugger to get established as a wildlife biologist to throw that idea into a tail spin. No hunter wants to see the game wiped out (except for wolves in the lower 48, which should never have been reintroduced), we want to have more to hunt.

This is a minority government--a coalition of NDP and Greens. It just allows them to have enough votes to form a government. This was one of the first acts they took. It is difficult to imagine the government lasting much beyond a year. While the Liberals were perhaps better, so far as hunting is concerned, they were in the hip pocket of the Guide Outfitters of BC. Together, they have really screwed up hunting in this area.

A sad situation. It appears much more common to see the tree huggers attacked by mountain lions, wolves and even coyotes. There may be a few grizzlies who will listen for the dinner bells and whistles the tree huggers so often promote.

That is unfortunate. Trust me, those of us (hunters) living in California feel your pain. It’s illegal to hunt Mt Lions here and it’s illegal to bring mt lion parts into this state legally hunted in other states. Recently they stopped bear hunting with dogs and are now working to outlaw coyote hunting. That’s what we get when our governor appoints a wine maker to run the government body in charge of regulating hunting.

Fight however you can to protect your hunting rights, or the next thing you know your game species will succumb to miss management.
