Gun smith?

Does anyone know of a competent gun smith in central/northern California or even Nevada? I would like to build a rifle either another 7 STW or more likely a 280 AI. I don't even have an action yet, but I wanted to start investigating.

Rob knows the 280 AI well.

Desert Fox, a poster here, could likely put you in contact with Jim Gruning, Gruning Precision, in Riverside California. Jim has an incredible reputation, particularly among LE riflemen who are fortunate enough to be able to shoot a custom made rifle:
