Guns America,,,, what to look out for?

So, found shot gun on GA and am considering making an offer. What pitfalls do you find and how does shipping work through an FFL. I assume that is still a requirement. Thanks for the advice. CL

I have completed only one gun deal thru GA. Bought a rifle from a person on the west coast. No problem, a one day deal.

Simply pay for the firearm, use a credit card, have your FFL dealer email, fax or mail his FFL copy to the seller. When it arrives at your FFL dealer go pick it up. With that said I like to buy from a gun/firearm dealer, or a known source that has a selling history at GA, you'll see his/her feed back, and what other buyer/sellers had to say about the transaction with that person. Must dealers with high volume are not an issue, but a seller w/o a history is a little iffy?

Thanks for the replies. I should have pulled the trigger a little quicker. Sold to someone else this AM. The search continues. Looking for a Mossberg 695 slug gun for BIL. CL
