Although the comment process is difficult to weed through, we need as many people as possible to express how stupid and ridiculous these proposed changes are. Of course, in a respectful, polite way. Also drop a note to your congressman or senator (especially if they are friendly to gun owners) and express your dismay at this latest effort at gun control through bureacracy. Clearly, the anti's can't beat us with legislation, so they are trying to eliminate private ownership of firearms thru OSHA's very wide back door. I have already contacted both the commitee and my congressman electronically. We should be able to inundate them with protests. Edit: Rick is right, all gun owners, shooters and hunters should belong to the NRA. IT is our best chance to win these battles. I have been a Life Member for many years, and recently upgraded to Endowment Member.

I'm a life member of the NRA.The NRA just sat down with Mc Carthy of NY & Dingell to work out new firearms legislation adversly effecting many people.I don't trust the NRA , the group that informed me of these shenanigans was Gun Owners of America who I'll donate to from now on not the NRA!

I don't always like compromise either, but the NRA is still our best chance to unite and defeat this kind of stuff. I didn't like Ruger caving on magazine size restrictions either, but I still like their products. Nothing makes Charles Schumer and Bloomberg happier than to see pro gun groups at odds with each other. Divide and conquer is still a very effective strategy. I would hope that all pro gun groups can unite against this OSHA effort to eliminate our constitutional rights and turn the USA into a police state.
