Good all around load. I have taken several WT deer and a bear with this load. I shoot a 700 Classic.

The best powders I have used so far in my 35 Whelen [700 CDL] have been Reloder 15 and Vihtavuori N 540. Very similar in burning rate and performance. I use 61 grains of either behind a 225 and 59 behind a 250. start 3 grains down and work up safely please. Regards, Eagleye.

with a 250 part. I use 59 grn of blc2, and 200 grn rn rem cl with 61 grns. Very accurate loads, I have taken an elk, blk bear, dozen blacktails, a mule deer, and a coyote.
