Headed west

Man I am jealous of you guys! Hopefully someday I will make it out there to chase some western big game. Be careful heading out .280 Remington! And don't forget the camera!

Thanks Chris! Camera is in the truck. Tripod and all! A quick shower when I get home. Load cooler. Hit the road!

Can this day go any slower..................................................

Yup! Always happens when you're getting ready to go.

Work is over rated :) but 1 plus about NM we do not have tornadoes!! Big reason I stayed here after retirement! I lived in tornado ally for 29 years and they are not something to take lightly!

Yep! Mike was my professional yardage caddie and western plains hunt partner. Hunting in the gentle Wyoming breeze is something to ponder...

I will write it up tomorrow as 1800 miles in 4 days hauling a 14000 pound fifth wheel and hunting hard will make an aging 40 year old want to sit back and relax for a few!!

Aw your just a young pup. I can remember not too long ago (2years) I would drive all week and get up early the next day and hunt till dark take care of any game I killed and then turn around and head back out on the road to do it all over again.
Congrats on a successful hunt.

Looking forward to your report, Pat. I have no doubt it will be delightful.
