Indont know if its reloads or scope shooting rem 700 270 win. 140grb nosler ballostic tips. Sight in at 25 go to 100rds getting diagonal strings. Switch to factorty loads. Get two shots left of center two shots right of center. Checked torque settings on scope and rifle. Is it reloads or scope any ideas.

Could be the bedding.

Its a wood stock use to shoot sub moa with other optics. Only change to reloads and vortex hst scope

Start by eliminating simple things.

Confirm screws that should be tight, are. Bedding, scope mounts, rings. If barrel should be free floating, verify that.

Once you get past that, consider the scope suspect.

Reloads made in a workman like fashion, will not directionally walk.

The onetime I saw that, my bedding screw worked loose. Was fine for 10 years, go figure.

If yes means you tried a different scope and still shoots diagonal then its probably your reloads. Could you explain your load practice? Maybe there is something in it that others on here could help you out.

I mounted a different scope havent gotten back out yet will this week. And yes i used gun scrubber to remove any copper fouling. I will keep you guys posted this week.
