Quite handsome, Rommel. Very nice. I'm certain the work up will be fascinating.

Tell us a bit about it, component? I see a rem 700 action, I will call it a custom bolt, whats the trgger, lowerplate/magazine, barrel and chambering?

Looks sweet and all business like a girl should.

Here's the list of component on this build.

Remington 700 Blueprinted
Mcmillan A-TH Stock
Rifle Basix Trigger
Brux 8.5 twist Med Palma 30"
Surgeon Bottom Metal
Gruning 20 MOA Picatinny Base
6 BR Norma Chambered by Gruning Precision

I likey.... :) . What made the decision on the trigger choice you made? Looking forward to seeing how it shoots after you get the bedding done.

You know Desert Fox, you put together fine rifles and combination of good selected parts. You really cause me to lust (GUN LUST). Really nice, you ought to be proud of those.

We have plenty of wide open space here in flat land Saskatchewan. If you want to send me that new rig. I would gladly do the break-in and help with the load work-up .
It is just a thoght
P.S. that is a very nice looking rig, I am sure it will be a tack driver!

Blessings,
Dan

Wow, very nice DF! That rifle looks like an awesome shooter just sitting still.

Thanks Guys.

I can wait to get this rifle to the range and see what all this 6BR hooplais all about.

Joel, I have rifle basix in all my Target rifle. It's a fine trigger and it met my needs. I set all of them to about a pound.

I haven't used one and my gunsmith doesn't want to use anything but Jewells, so haven't had a chance to play with one. Do they all come just needing weight adjustments or do you have to do work on springs and sear as well?

They're adjustable. You can choose the weight of pull when you buy one. My 338 breaks at 12 ounces.

I wish you were the one doing the bedding job on that Big 8 I had instead of me, you don't leave any stones unturned, meticulous work, very good.
