Is it similar to the 376 Steyr? I like your peep sight set up too, I've killed a lot of game with a similar setup on different rifles through the years.

Yes it is almost identical to the Steyr but I designed it some years before they did. Mine is based on the belted magnum and theirs is a one of cartridge which must be bought from Hornady I think and it gets to be very expensive. I just buy "Once Fired Bras" for about $35/100, anneal, run through die and cut to length. If it is Remington brass, I don't even have to ream out the necks. If it is Federal than I have to run a reamer through the neck. Federal brass is a lot thicker.

Shoot em right behind the shoulder and they won't go far! I've taken a few with just a round ball and patch out of my TC Renegade and it dropped em in their tracks :grin:

Lent it to a friend and she clobbered a nice antelope with it. Full exit on every animal we ever shot
