Just got back from Texas. Had a great time! 7 people 15 hogs. I used a model 99 300 Savage 130 gr TTSX. My son used my Marlin 30-30 160 FTX handloads. My friend Danielle skunked us with a 200 lbs pig with her 6.5 Creed.

Cool! How did the Henry 45 Colt do?

I loaded that one to 1500 fps (from the rifle) with 240 XTP and LILGUN. Shots under 75 yards in the head. All exits.
