Filled the cow elk tag this morning.
Not the best video. With the camera mount on the scope the cross hairs look crooked in the video if the camera isn’t lined up right.
With the short scope rings on this rifle I need to leave it loose so I can remove it quickly to cycle the bolt.

I enjoyed! Congrats on what should prove to be excellent table fare.

Regards, Guy

Excellent! Congratulations on filling the tag and with a rifle that is so meaningful for you.

That's the way to do it ! Right in back yard! Where I'm living in Idaho I've only packed out bulls in back country hunts. All the cows we shoot (as I say "in the back yard"), we can take out whole or in half on a wheeler. Sometimes with a tractor ! Cow elk has been our "red meat" for a few decades now. Still buy beef for a fatty roast or a ribeye steak but 99% of burger has been elk.
Now more importantly - "Very nice Mod 70". That is a part of our firearm history there.
