I have two loads of diff bullets and powder that I'm trying for my 243.
H-100V w/ 95BT and also Retumbo w/ 105A-Max.
Both loads are about the middle of the "book" slight cratering around firing pin.
What puzzles me is both loads will shoot about 1" but the AMax is almost a perfect horizontal line EVERY time. The BT is about 3/4 - 1" but 4 of 6 groups were also a perfect horizontal line.
I'm going to clean the bore and pull the stock(HS Precision) and check all scope mounting screws. Scope is a Leupold VX-L which hasn't let me down before.
I checked bullet run-out and all were .0025" or less.
This has me scratching my head. It just seems to be too coincidental that it is throwing a horizontal line each time.
Any ideas????
