So I went out shooting today and decided to run a 139 gr. Interbond through some milk jugs. It was shot from a mild load in my wife's 7mm-08 at 2728 fps.

I lined up 4 milk jugs and a couple other jugs behind them just in case. I shot from 20 yards. It destroyed the first 3 jugs. The 4th had a decent entry hole and the bullet put a distinct imprint in the back side of the jug but came just short of exiting.

I don't have a weight or expanded diameter yet but suffice it to say, I am very impressed. This is a great bullet! I will update this info when I get a second.

That's BEAUTIFUL right there. Great test. I'm going to grab some of those. I used the 130 IB in my 270 WSM and took a couple deer. Now I see exactly why they never twitched!!

I am very impressed with that bullet. Hope my Wife or Daughter can put one into some deer or elk this year!

I've had good success with the InterBond shot from my 30-06 and from my 280. That test will give you great encouragement.

great looking bullet . you are right at 500 FPS slower than my test . I think I'll do a reduced load in my 7mm-08 so we can see how this bullet does around the 1800 or 2000 FPS speeds . or should I go about 500 FPS slower than this test , this would be in the 2225 FPS area .

anyone have a suggestion on what speed we should test next ? I'm likeing these bullets .

2000-2200 would be good with me Jim. Even 2200 is WAY out there for most of my rifles.

I'm saving jugs again . when I get enough jugs I'll do a 1796 FPS and also a 2226 FPS . how low can it go ........... ha

That looks even better with the calipers on it. That is some awesome expansion.

not much difference between 3200 FPS and 2700 FPS . this bullet mirrors the one I tested . I likem

Very similar results. That is one tough bullet that will clearly get the job done if placed properly!

Oh yeah. I like it. Kinda surprised we don't hear more about them. They have a really slick 150 IB for the 270.. Really would like to try that as well.

My brother uses the 150 IB and recently killed a bull elk in Wy. Shot was under 50 yards out of a warm 270 WSM load. Bull buckled at the shot and died almost instantly. That bullet passed all the way through but would have loved to have seen it.

Been thinking the same after seeing all the positive tests lately about the Interbond. Would love to try the 150 gr 270 and 129 gr 6.5mm in our rifles. Haven't tried them but that will soon change........

I was thinking the same things Gerry. That 129 might be wicked if it'll hold up to the 264.
