Hornady 150 gr Spire Point seconds

Looks like 150 interlocks. I might just have to pick a few up to try. My buddy's mom has killed a bunch of Alaskan critters with that bullet over the last 30 years. She has an old ruger tang safety with a weaver 6x scope.

Everything from wolves, bears, Bou and moose, including a couple Grizzlies, one in her living room! One of the fastest moose kills I ever saw was her shooting a small bull moose, it was like he dropped thru a trapdoor!

Come on everyone knows you need a 416 for moose and bears and the 270 Win with 150 gr Interlocks is next to useless ;)

She has a small griz , 5' or so, mounted in her living room at their cabin. Said it only seemed fitting cause that's where she shot him! I guess that 150 interlock will work if your under 15 feet away. I told her she would have to start calling the cabin loft a ladder stand!

I've got a friend whos done very well in the trucking business. He and his wife have gone on a ton of guided hunts over the years. Their two favorite rifles are 270 wby's from rifles Inc. Both guns absolutely love the 150 hornady and they have never lost an animal over bullet performance.....And that includes some MONSTER elk. I've done reloading for them over the years dating back to when the bullets were $15 per box of 100. I've teased him for years over beers about his fancy guns, scopes and hunts and that when it comes down to "crunch time" he uses a 15 cent bullet! He just smiles and shakes his head!
