Well I just bought my first Hornady Dies for my 7mmRM. Well I get it all set up to resize some brass and I did not mearsure 3/16" correctly and had more like 5/16" and some change. Well I noticed that the brass was not going up into the die, so of course instead of stopping like I should have, the neanderthall in me came and and used my force. Did this twice more before thinking that was wrong.

Well long story short I bent the spindle after three cases. Call Hornady today and told them I messed up and wanted to know what it would cost to get a new one. "Bob" told me, no big deal get you a new one under warranty. I told him that I messed it up though, and he said it was okay. Got to love that kind of customer service.

Those guys are great. They have replaced my decapping pin, expander ball and rod three times with out any hesitation. That darned millitary 5.56 brass with the crimped primer pockets are not kind to the reloader.

They replaced a whole die for me that I had bought used as it was an old design and they did not have parts for it. I even told them I got it used. Good people. RCBS is also excellent as is Dillon. Cannot say the same about Lee. They want money and/or send the part back which costs more than a new one.

Generally, the manufacturers of reloading equipment are a class act. So glad to hear this good report on Hornady. RCBS is certainly that way. I just discovered that chapter five (pressure, energy and velocity) was missing in my newest volume of their reloading guide. Sent an E-mail asking if they could supply me a copy of the fifth chapter. They are sending a new manual.

I also bought a couple of hornady dies one in the 7mm wsm and another in 25-06. When I got the 7mm wsm the spindle was bent so I called them and in less than a week the parts were out my house and getting used. Have to love hornady's customer service.

I agree. Hornady is great as is redding lee and rcbs. No complaints from me on any of these. I have dealt with all of them.
