How did I do?

That's what I'm talkin' 'bout, Heath. Good show. JD338 is absolutely correct, 620 is a fair piece.

Thanks guys, I got lucky and caught an evening with very little wind, just dial up and press send. :) I sure can't do that all the time.

For some reason I still have in the back of my mind a worry about the reliablity of a Savage. I don't know why as I have owned my little .243 for about 16yrs and it has been 100% reliable. I have always been a CRF kind of guy I guess. I know there are differences but the 700 and 110 are both pushfeed, no idea why I am uptight about it.

I'll get some pics of the rifle and groups tommorrow.

I'm seeing 140gr Accubonds over H4831 in the future........

Now, Heath, you can quit worrying about their reliability if you trade it in and buy a nice Winchester. I tell you want, I don't want you worrying about that rifle. How about I take it off your hands so you can get something that'll really shoot?

Thanks for the offer Mike. :) I have actually looked at the Winchesters, I have never owned one of their bolt guns and after seeing your's I may have to change that. One in a .260 or 6.5x55 would trip my trigger.

I remember reading about Savages having extraction problems and for some reason that sticks in my mind everytime I take one into the field. I know that all mine are very accurate and I have fired a whole bunch of rounds out of mine wih never a problem so I don't know why I feel that way.

Most of my hunting is done with lever guns or a .358 Win Hawkeye anways.

Dr. Mike you should trade him one of your Winchesters.

Corey,

I would be pleased to trade him one of my Winchesters, but Homeland Security wants to keep America safe, so my rifles would be proscribed from entering the USA. Well, I'll just keep them and shoot them as Canadian rifles.

Pretty convenient excuse there, Doc.

Yeah, but it still works. Hey, try convincing Homeland Security that though I am an American citizen, I should be able to buy brass and/or bullets from SPS and have them shipped to Canada.

Heath, we need some pictures of the new rifle! Man, you are holding out on us! Scotty

I had plans to get home and put the gun out in the yard and take good pics. Football took FOREVER, so sucky in the house pics it is!
