How to Become a Wimp In One Trade!

I live in the northern extremity of Pugetopolis and have to dodge the tight lipped, white knuckled, Subaru's glued in the passing lane doing 55 MPH, but of course they do it righteously, for our own good and to get better gas mileage by not yielding!

Well I own a 6 speed diesel jetta a 5 speed 2500 4X4 RAM with a cummins and and average caliber of .26. But when I'm not working or ranching I'm crawling on bucking horses. So I think I still have my man card

Extra credit for the Jetta being a diesel.

Man card may not be in question after crawling on a bronc, but sanity might!

No. Subarus may be great vehicles, but their image is tarnished by all the granola-eating, whale- and tree-hugging wannabe hippies in The Willamette Valley and Pugetopolis.

Shucks.

Just ran the numbers; right on 0.370

Man, you've got to buy a couple of .224 calibre or .204 calibre rifles. You'll make the rest of us feel inadequate.

Kodiak,

You're definitely going to have to acquire a few "lighter" calibres, or divest yourself of some of the larger ones. The only one that can keep up with you right now is Fotis!

I dunno. Word has it that Fotis is looking at EBRs... that'll bring his average down.

Surely someone will change the rules to permit counting the number a magazine holds so that we can calculate combined weight of the bullets.

Maybe we need to use a bolt face thrust quotient, or something to make it more equal? I quess that I have made enough trouble with original post anyway? I was bored and feeling unwell that day.

Oldtrader3,
I've really enjoyed this thread you started and like DrMike I too messed up my keyboard by spraying it with cofffee! I haven't laughed that hard since I pranked my brother in hunting camp(put my bearskin rug over a cooler and next to his cot while he slept).
Thanks for the laughs!

That is just cruel. Very funny though. I'm sorry I wasn't there to see the reaction.

DrMike,
It was during archery season and before I started up the predator caller I unloaded his pistol and left a battery operated lamp on(for full effect and to make sure he saw the BEAR). It's been more than five years now and I still can't stop smiling every time I think about it! For some reason he won't go bear hunting with me.

That would have been funny to see. At least we don't take ourselves too seriously around here?

Scott,

At least you took ample precautions. For sure, you'd want to empty all handguns and hide any knives before he awakened.

I must be a wimp, I have an average of .260. I like little bullets and lots of powder for most of my hunting. Biggest ones are a 7 mag and 30-06.

My hunting truck is a 3/4 ton with a 454 and a Detroit locker in the back axle, does that help any?
