Hunt on hold.

I was supposed to leave on a two week deer hunting trip to east NC this morning instead I am sitting in the hospital with my 93 year old mother. She fell Tuesday and broke her hip. I will have to put her in a nursing home Monday. If she does well I may be able to take off next Wednesday and salvage a week. Mom comes first though. I have already been to NC hunting one week this year and took a couple of nice bucks 6 and 7 point. The 7 point with my Contender pistol in 30-30AI with 125 ballistic tips. They hammer deer.

To bad about the hunt, but you are right family comes first. She will appreciate your thoughtfulness, love and care. I know how it is to have an older parent but both of mine are gone now. Treasure your time with her.
