I need some QuickLoad help...

If anybody has the time, I'd sure appreciate it...I'm using a load that I know is safe (58 grains of H4350), this is more of a curiosity thing.

I have QuickLoad myself...but its at home and I won't be there for a while yet.

Just kinda wondering where it hits 60 and 65k psi...

QL projects that you are kissing 60k psi at a charge weight of 57.6 grains and that you will hit 64k psi as you approach a charge weight of 58.7 grains. Going from 60k psi (SAAMI pressure limits) to 64k psi nets 53 fps from a 22 inch tube. Fascinating stuff.

You brought another question to mind...how much difference in velocity is there between 60k and 64k with a 24" barrel?

The difference in a twenty-four inch barrel appears to be 58 fps.

That's a kinda pricey 58 fps, ain't it? Unless, of course, that's where the accuracy lives.
