the H&R Handy rifle mentioned here. I now it is not a high dollar gun, but I figured that someone would have one to play with. I have always thought about getting one in .204 Ruger. So does anyone have one and how does it shoot?

There are a few fellas here that shoot them.

I have the Ultimate Hunter, stainless w/laminated thumbhole stock in 45-70. It shoots extremely accurate with Hornady Lever Revolution 325 Gr. ammo. Haven't reloaded for it yet but connects bullet holes @ 100 with the factory ammo. Does a devastating number on Whitetail.

I have one in heavy barrel .223 the I almost stole during a going out of business sale.
It shoots great. At some point I plan to get a few more barrels for it.

I briefly worked with a guy who had one, a .204, and he seemed to really like it.

Had a couple. Would buy one. Then sell it and then actually bought another.

OK rifles. Just found them too heavy for what they are. The 45-70 is actually lighter. The smaller bores have too much metal and are barrel heavy.

My thoughts
