I really need help!!!

It's a Sako model 85 Finnbear in 30-06. Sako did a run of them but they are not listed currently on their website. Cabelas had it in their gun library, new in the box. I've always loaded 180 grain bullets in my '06 but I may try a 165 and see how it does.

Nice! I had a .30-06 Sako a few years ago. It was really accurate with either 165 or 180 Partitions. I have a Model 85 now in .338 Federal.

Great pickup!! And no you don't need help by making that purchase you have satisfied me for another few weeks. Thank you as I have been starting to weaken!!

Very handsome. I have no doubt it will prove itself to be a shooter.

If you need any help breaking it in let me know and I will be glad to assist you. (y) I'll even pay for shipping.

Very nice and what a great cartridge. You are sick, but I'm glad it was you purchasing instead of me. Almost as much fun! 165 gr. Partitions or Accubonds & IMR4350 or H4350!!

Wow, that is a beautiful rifle Lefty.. I like the wood on that rifle a bunch.

Hope it shoots insanely well for you.

To be sure, you do need help. However, the type of help you're going to receive around here are offers to break in that beautiful rifle, offers to ensure that it works on game or encouragement to spend more. I will surely do my part to assist you in this dreadful malady that has now seized you. I mean, that's what friends are for. (I'll PM my mailing address if that will make it easier for you to get the rifle to me.)

That is GORGEOUS !!!!

165's and the '06 make great whitetail medicine.

Elk don't seem to like the 165 gr. Accubonds. Just ask the one I got last January

For all of you that offered your assistance breaking the rifle in ...I accept. Meet me at my local gun range with your best '06 loads and I'll buy lunch!!!

Unfortunately it will be a bit before I can work up some loads. A spring bear permit needs to get filled first!!!
