I should put in for a Moose Tag.

I have seen as many moose this season as elk. Here are three bulls we watched tear up a couple of trees and spar together. All about 150 - 175 yds.

We keep seeing more and more each year.
The bigger one when turns to look at us is about 36 inches - give or take a few.
He's about as good as I've seen around here (Clearwater Region-Idaho), not the biggest body size though.

Cool photos! Moose population seems to be expanding in Idaho & Washington, but I could be wrong. Will be interesting to see how it goes as the wolf population is also growing...

How tough is it to get a moose tag in Idaho?

The odds for drawing in this unit is 1 in 20. 8 tags and 157 apps put in.
I guess we will never get one with out trying.

I saw a young bull moose in Idaho when I was there this spring in Idaho. It was near Warrenton, outside of McCall. Besides the bull, I saw a bunch of scraggily cows. Unfortunately it is about 2500.00 for a non res to even apply for a moose tag. Scotty
