...just about ready for deer season. Had it sighted in w/ some 65gr. V-Max fun loads. Zeroed it @200yds w/ 100gr. Sierra SBT's/ 40.5grs. of RL-17/ right @ 3100fps. Click down, couple clicks over, another click down & a couple more over. Pretty impressed w/ this cheap little toy rifle. Supposed to have the same length of pull as it's big brothers, but w/ it tiny little barrel & short little action it feels more like a BB gun, a fun BB gun...

I watched a young hunter put down two Mule deer bucks with well placed shots from his trusty 243 WSSM. The first deer fell over like a tall tree. The second one took about six or seven steps with a hole in an upper chamber of the heart, then went to the dirt hotel.
The 87gn Hornady Interlock atop a full load of H-414 makes a great load.

My load was 95 gr BT with 760 or H414 (same thing)

3200 fps and .6" from a win 70 micro action

I have tried R17 and W760, but find IMR 4350 works the best in my super shadow.
