Good find Corbin! It is a known fact that VLD bullet won't begin to stabilized until pass 100 yards. That's why I'm not worried about the grouping of the 140 grain Berger from my 6.5-284. The true measure of that load will be at 500 yards where I'm planning to try this weekend.
 
In all honesty I don't understand why all the gun mags and writers, stiil stick with 100yrd groups, unless I've changed out a scope or sighting in the very first time I always start at 200 or 250 , I love when they test something like savages new long range hunter, then give you the 100 yrd group results(or insults). 6.5-284 should never be tested at that range , unless they iron sight it LOL!!
