I've looked at several Henry's lately in .45-70.

I gotta admit I've never given them a second though...but the machine work is first class on the samples I've looked at.

My history is a little sketchy....but weren't the first Henry's rimfire 44's? You aren't looking for one of those ...are you? That would be a reloading challenge for sure and likely require mortgaging a couple of those prized weatherbys. :shock: My cousin has a 22 Mag henry. Reportedly his favorite rifle hands down. They are nice. The club gave a way a 45 LC this year but not to me, and I never saw it.
