Recently I have taken an interest in shotshell reloading, mostly for TSS loads for the 20 and 410. I picked up a box of odds and ends shotshell reloading gadgets at a sale a while back and found this in a section of cardboard tube. It's old and homemade. Its a turkey striker with 4 of the snap-off type razor blades set into shallow grooves and a red tip. The sharpened edge of the blades is at the red tip and taper backwards. The leading edge of the blades is 1/8" above the red tip. My first guess is its to cut 4 slits simultaneously in a shot wad because it would cut it and you're supposed to stop the slits about 1/8" from the bottom of the wad.??? Or it's unrelated and doesn't belong in the box of reloading stuff. Any thoughts? Near as I can figure it's a Thingamawhatsahoositmabob.
