You guys all know I went to Costco's to get a hearing test and a pair of hearing aids, I may have even told you there was or could be an underlying problem with the left ear. The audiologist that did the test thought there might be a problem and referred me to an ENT of my choice. Made the appointment and was told most hearing problems originate in the brain (cyst, tumors etc.) and prescribed an MRI of my brain with contrast, got it done and the results shows mucus on the left side near the top. He said it was nothing to worry about right now but needs to keep a watch on it and ordered I come back in 6months for another hearing test.
Is it life threatening no not for now, just annoying to know that it is there but now I know why I have severe hearing loss in my left ear. I might even know what caused it since I took a bullet to the head back in the 90's.
I can live with this; just wish I had known that you should get your hearing tested every two years I may have caught it earlier.

So sorry to read this, Rodger. I pray the neurological exam will not reveal any serious concerns.

I have a severe mucus problem coughing up mucus most of the day. Ear,nose, and throat specialist said it can be a gasttric problem. Do you eat alot of processed food. i've been making this it really helps.
