I found an RCBS Turret Press still in the box with some surface rust on it for $68.00. the rust is neglegible, and every thing seems to function properly. is this a good price?
I now have a partner press, and an old Herters press (discontinued) but these are both single stage presses. Not that I need progressive, but if this is a good deal I think I should go for it.

That is less than 1/2 price. I really like mine, although maybe the Redding turret is better. I would buy it and clean it up. The rust should not get any worse. Although I would be careful if it were on the ram. Maybe rust here would not hurt but then again maybe it would.

I didn't see any on the ram, mostly surface rust and grime.I'm on the road doing a job right now, so I think I'll buy it, take it to the machine shop in the plant I'm working in, and see how clean I can get it. I still have 90 hours to take it back and get a refund. It's at a salvage store.

get it , clean it up and if it produces problems for you send it to RCBS and they will fix/replace. LIFETIME WARRANTY

NO! That is way to much for such a cheap press! Don't buy it. Send me the info on who is trying to rip you off and I will take it from there.

Too late!! I dun bought it, and cleaned er up. There was some rust on the bottom of the turret that I was able to sand blast and one spot on the ram that I used steel wool on, other than that, this baby is shinin' like brand new!    for $68.00 tax and all. Then I went back this afternoon after work and was looking around, and in a buggy of stuff they were just putting out, I found an accessory base plate-2 for $10.80. I bought it, went back to the job site, (just to make sure all was well  ) sand blasted it and now it's new again too! But thanks for the offer of retalitory action Steve. I'll just hafta cut my losses here I guess. I don't want you getting yourself in trouble on my account.

As for the lifetime warrenty, I found a dent in the large primer pickup tube, called RCBS to see how much a replacement would be and it was covered free of charge under warrenty,no questions asked.Thats service!
 JD
