Here is a pretty good one my Dad shot here in Maine, actually right behind our Lodge , so he now resides in the lodge, within a 1/2 mile of where he lived his whole life!! This guy was also killed with one shot from a 30/06 loaded with 220gr bullets; and 56.6grs of 4831 powder and from memory that gives 2600 fps in his rifle. [ :( Do not use this load without working up to it as it would probably isn't safe in some of the older guns  ]
Anyway he had been eluding us for years; but finally coaxed him out, he is 61" and has some pretty darn decent "frontals" on him as well. A good representation of a mature Maine Bull.

Yeah, I think that's probably a pretty good moose...

Too late to throw it back now anyway!

Good luck to all you moose hunters.

Guy

That's a nice trophy bull Earl. nice palms on him too!..We have some big bulls here in Ontario as well, if lady luck is in my corner, I think we'll be ok, and fill my tag.I'm gonna try hard that's for sure! :)

Here's a 58" bull that me buddy shot a few yrs ago here in Ontario, same camp I'll be staying at with my group, and his group as well :)
