That is one of my goals with the Edge and my other builds too. I'm not interested in shooting game anywhere close to that far but it would be fun to shoot rocks or steel that far. I've shot to 12-1300yds quite a few times but a mile just sounds cool.

I'm hoping to hit the 1K mark this weekend with my savage. I've only got a 12x12" steel target but should be doable. 1760 will be attempted at some point but I've got a ways to go yet. Would be a cool thing to be able to say you've put accurate rounds on target at 1 mile....
