Ladder test question

For you that do them or know about them, does having a clean bore versus having a fouled barrel make much of a difference in the consistency of the test? I did back to back ladder tests (15 shots each) starting with a clean barrel. I'm worried that the dirtier it gets the more it may not be consistent when I come back to visit the accuracy nodes. I hope that makes sense.

After cleaning the barrel, I usually run 3 -5 rounds through the barrel to foul it before doing tests. I wouldn't worry about it getting dirty during the tests until after about 50 to 100 rounds or until accuracy starts to fall off.

In my opinion I agree fully with TackDriver, at least when talking about standard hunting rifles. Each gun is individual, and it of course depends on the bore and how much copper it grabs up, but a lot of them can go way more than 50 rds before noticing any difference at all on target.
