LCRx Trigger Issue

All,

I've run into a problem with an LCR-x - on one chamber, the trigger will stick to the rear - I suppose technically, it's the notch opposite that chamber. I can cause it to pop forward by just pressing lightly on in, or by putting torque on the cylinder. I noticed that if I put a little torque on the cylinder against the normal rotation, I can get the trigger to stick on every notch. I've also noticed that on SA, the cocking is much stiffer and almost seems to be two-stage before it will lock back. Trigger pull for that one in SA is also noticeably stiffer than for the others.

Anyone have thoughts on this? Anyone experience anything similar?

**EDIT** I recently replaced the ejector and ejector extension with parts ordered from Numrich, so I suspect that may have something to do with it.

Thanks

UPDATE -

Okay, so I replaced the new ejector with the original ejector and that remedied the issue. The new part must have had some sort of bur or other deformity which prevented the pawl from properly engaging the surface of the ejector. It was a simple fix which taught me some things about my revolver.

A good news story all the way around.

I had something similar happen with a gritty DA pull, and it turned out to be debris inside the action. I stripped it down, cleaned everything well, and lightly lubed the internals. Made a huge difference. Also, I’ve seen smoother pulls after switching springs. On a different note, I was tuning a forced reset trigger ar15 recently and noticed how sensitive small parts are - makes you appreciate clean internals even more.

Mine did something similar and it turned out to be a burr inside the frame rubbing on the trigger bar. A couple minutes with a fine file fixed it right up.
Thanks. I've got a set of small files, so if I run into a similar situation, I can give that a look.

And - welcome to the forum.
