Leupold LPS?

Anyone out there using one? I'm looking at the 2.5-10X45 for a rifle of mine. I know that they have been replaced by the VX-7 but I found a good deal on one for about 40% of the cost of the new VX-7 model. I generally don't like scopes with larger than 40mm objective but this power range appeales to me.

For the money, sounds like a good deal. Tough to beat a Leupold.

I have the exact scope. Excellent glass... on par with any European scope in the market. I'm really surprised that Leupold discontinued it.

It was a used one, but I waited too long to buy some one else snatched it up. I should have went with my gut and bought it. Even if it was broken in some way I could have sent it back.

I have the 2.5-10x45 LPS on my Sendero. It was half the price of the VX-7 Scopes and still had the 30mm tube. Scope caps from leupold is the only problem. Nothing in 45mm. :evil:

The guy was listing it for $525, shipping included. I don't know if that is average but the new VX-7 in that power is selling for around $1300.

It was just over 600 from Cableas about a year ago.
