My son's Leupold 9x25 Gold Ring compacts had one of the eye-cup cushion pieces come off and we lost it in the woods. I sent an e-mail to Leupold and Reed Aldrich got in touch with me immediately and told me how and where to send them in for repair. I did, and they barely had them for a few days and they were back in the mail to me and just showed up this afternoon with two new eye-cup pieces. They did not charge a dime other than what I spent to mail them in, and in addition to new cup pieces, they cleaned and polished the lenses and they look perfect again. I have owned these now for 20 years and they have been fantastic. The service has been so also!

I'm a huge Leupold fan. Made in USA and they take care of you. More news after I read the warranty card further. They took the time to do a complete internal inspecion, and they aligned the barrels on the binoculars. Awesome stuff. Thanks Leupold.

Leupold build their reputation on service. It is their service that will give them an opportunity to turn the tide against the pressure generated by some of the more recent glass that is pushing them.
 
I have a 2-7 VX-1 shotgun scope on my muzzleloader and slipped on a frozen creekbed a few years ago and the scope took a pretty good thrashing when it hit the ground! Sent it in to be checked out and they went over it from top to bottom and it works as good as it did before that incident.

I have a pair of wind river binos and lost an eye cup too. Leupold had ne send them back. They tuned them up and returned them to me, along with an extra set of eye cups at no charge.
Leupold is indeed a world class company.

Roger that. Leupold may not be top rung on the ladder anymore, with competition from Night Force, Zeiss, Schmidt & Bender and others, but they still offer a very good product for the hunter & shooter.

Their service is great. I've only had to have one scope repaired - a 4.5-14x that twice had the windage adjustment go out. Each time Leupold fixed it for free and had it back in my hands in about a week.

The last time was about ten years ago and the scope continues to function just fine!

The only brand of scopes I own are Leupolds, and I have found their service excellent. I just ordered a new turrent for my STW for the 175 grain Nosler PT
 
I have to VX-3 3.5 x10 x40 and each one failed after 3 years. i sent them in and they took care of me ASAP. I got 2 new scopes and even a phone call.

Cant get any better then that. They make a right!

I apparently don't shoot enough... I've never had to try Leupold's (or Vortex') customer service! I need to get on the ball!
