I just ordered one to put on the 375 Ruger Guide Gun. Eventually going to get the Alaskan quick detach rings for it. That way use open sights for 100yds. and under. Scope for 200yds and over. Hopefully I made a wise choice on optic. I have been told that the 375 Ruger would be ballistics would be about the same as the 30-06 shooting 180gr. bullet, but with the heavier grain bullet. What is your opinion on scope for the 375 Ruger? Opinions would be great.

It's a good match, my buddy put a duplex version on his 375 Ruger and it is a great fit.

Gerry is correct--that is an excellent choice for your 375 Ruger. I have used the identical scope on several of my rifles, and it has served me well.

I have the same scope on my Sako 85 Kodiak in .375 H&H and love it!..Perfect choice for sure!

300gr Pt's @ (200yds), not bad for a .375 with a 21.3" tube

I have this same scope in matte black with a Duplex on my 375R. It has also been on my 280AI. It is a great little scope. Should serve you very well.

The Leupold showed up today. Just mounted it briefly with factory medium scope rings that came with Ruger Guide Gun to see if eye relief would be good. All looks good so next will order the Alaskan quick detach rings and I will be set. Looking forward of getting rifle set so I can work up handloads for hunting season. Thanks for all your opinions.

I bought the 1.5-5x20 Leupold VX3 for my 9.3x74R. I wish that I had bought the 2.5-8x36. These old eyes could use the extra power past 100 yards.

FWIW, the std Duplex set at 8x fits perfectly in a black 6" bulls eye at 500 yds.
