LITTLE CROW GUNWORKS TRIMMER?

I've seen their ads for the last little while, but I never used the gear. It does look interesting.

When you get one, let me know. I have about 1500 .223s to trim myself....

Yep, looks interesting. would help in trimming the 300 blackouts since I have to cut them from 223 brass.

I just ordered one for the pile of .223 brass I have. I'll let you all know how it works.

Brian and I are pretty interested in these as well. Anything that assists with trimming is a good thing in my book.

Is it the one that locates off the shoulder? I have not thought that through for pros and cons (if any)?

Well I've been locked in my man cave all day and got alot done. I was able to put the trimmer from Little Crow Gunworks through it's paces. I'm pretty pleased with how it works. I got it chucked into my cordless and set up my Rcbs Trim mate next to it and let it rip. I was able to do 500 cases in a little less than one hour! That was trimming and chamfering the cases. The Trimmer works well on high speed and only takes a couple of seconds per case. If you give the case 1/4 turn at the finish it will deburr the case and all it will need is chamfering. It does throw shavings so you have to wear safety glasses - I think I may design some kind of shield for deflecting and containing the shavings. The case are trimmed using the shoulder as a benchmark. If your dies are consistant then your case OAL will be as well. I set the trimmer with a case I did on my hand trimmer, trimmed to 1.750. The trimmer turned out all cases to within .001 of that measurement. I sized then cleaned all the cases before trimming them.

That is a great report Scott. I am thinking it sounds like a huge time saver and better yet, it is accurate.

Can you put a video up of it in action? Would like to see one of us use the gear. Always better than the advertisers..

I bought the 5 in1 so I guess you would call it the .223 family. Just got it last friday and so far I have only used it on 100 .223 cases and it worked just fine.
