I stumbled into some wormy chestnut. Exceedingly hard to find nowadays, and when you do it costs as much as some exotic woods. I'm thinking about using it for box calls, but before I saw it up I'm looking to see if there is an interest in them, provided they sound good. So what say you guys, would wormy chestnut box calls be something folks would like to have even though the price is about 30% higher than walnut, cherry, etc? Thanks for any input.

I'm no expert but I would think it would offer a unique look and potentially a unique sound as well.

I’d take another box call if you made one.

Any of you turkey hunters owe it to yourself to get a couple of his calls. He makes excellent stuff with excellent craftsmanship.
Thanks, Buddy! I'll be sure you reach out when I have another box call finished.
