Have this room pretty well set up for my fly-tying & handloading. Also, just a nice place to hang out.

It's nice to get my loading setup back inside, after a couple of years of using the garage.

Very nice Guy but its too clean and organized!

Nice setup Guy. I have the same bench, but I agree with JD, it's too organized. I would never be able to find anything. Ha ha.

I am with JD and TD, how can you find your stuff, none of it is laying around? My doctors office looks worse, great job guy !!!!!!!!

Good looking layout. I would be worried that I couldn't find anything, however. I've always told myself that a messy desk is a sign of a well-ordered mind. At least I've always stated such to my wife. Don't know that she's bought that, but after 49 years or so, she doesn't argue any longer.

I remember when I had two sets of dies: .38/.357, and 6mm Rem...

Dad kept the .30-06 dies at his place, where they belonged! Now I look at those stacks of loading dies and realize that, at least on occasion, I load for a pretty good number of cartridges & firearms.

A neat handloading area has always helped me stay organized... Can't say it's always been neat though. Ugh.

With all the windows in that room, there's not a lot of wall space for trophies & such. Still, I like it. Feel very much at home and comfortable there.

My reloading room was fairly well organized, until this happened just last night:

The shelf body buckled. Looks like I'll be busy for a couple of days.

Sorry to see that. But I'll have to say I'm on Mike's page with organization. But there's no way even an organized mind could understand the results of that fatality in any other way other than chaos!

Sorry to see that, brings a tear to my eye much like spilled beer. On a positive note maybe you will find some stuff you forget you had.

The empathy expressed brings tears to my eyes. That is a bummer, however. After a tremor (or full-blown earthquake) I am tempted to give up hand loading. Addictions are hard to bear, however.

Spilled beer level? I look at this as a crisis that we all may be able to learn from and find a way to mitigate!

I like beer, what can I say.

Guy- last I heard you were moving the reloading to the garage. If that Jeep is parked on a Persian rug close by I wouldn't be surprised. Nice! Mounts look good too! CL

Good stuff! For you that load in doors, how do you not get brass shavings and powder all over? As hot as it has been lately, the garage is sucking lately. Guess I could lay laminate or wood flooring.

Cloverleaf - ya - my two years of loading in exile in the garage are over.

Hunting1 - agree - a hardwood floor would be better than carpet. But, the room was carpeted. I figure I'm going to put in a hardwood floor upstairs "one of these days." In the meantime, it really hasn't been a problem. I was loading in a carpeted room for 10 years, before the two years out in the garage...

Over 50+ years of handloading (started young) I've loaded in a variety of places. Have to say that an air-conditioned & heated room in the house is by far my favorite!

Regards, Guy
