We have over 90 Forest Fires burning here in Central Washington. From 10 acres to 4000 acres. They have ALL the woods closed! Bowhunters are crying, muzzle loaders are doing rain dances.. modern guys are sitting back knowing/hoping that rain or snow will come before we get into the woods

There is not rifle ranges in the area... I have all these nice shiny rounds to test and can not even go shooting....

Know the feeling except when I was ready....rain..

We needed it cause we were a tinderbox here....but the range is a mud pit even at a half inch of rain.

But hang in..... I finally got out... you will too...

Air Quality goes from Unhealthy to Hazardous on an hourly basis. We have a breeze blowing now, clearing some of the smoke. BUT, that means the fires are being fanned as well.. We have two fires that if they merge will be one 80,000 + acre fire.. Bigger than the city of Seattle.

Smoke was so thick here in Ellensburg today it layed like a fog...

That is bad, especially on the elderly and those with respiratory problems.

Visibility here has been running 2-3 miles for the past few days. It needs to rain pretty bad. The up side is it is keeping the temps down because we never see the real sun just a glowing orange ball.

It is so bad, a few Yakima Indians I know, were talking about doing a Rain Dance..

This is the 2nd HUGE fire we have had in just over a month. The first one burned homes as it raced across the sage...

The air quality is so bad, I have a GWP, and I will not let him run and play outside. He is literally going bonkers.. and is getting into all kinds of trouble.. (banging head on table)

There is a state wide ban on anything that may include fire, or sparks. And all the woods are closed down until further notice, making a lot of people upset due to hunting season has already started.
