Locating Turkeys?

Jeeze, might have to drop off a turkey call when I am out there next time.. I think you'd have a blast! It's like calling in a rutting bull elk, just a little smaller..

Oh! I have several calls, I was using a slate, but couldn't divert them back to me. They made a lot of noise and strutted back and forth but wouldn't come in closer than about 40 yards. Of course I was standing in the open, also.

Those big turkey breasts are pretty good eating buddy.. Plus, I am betting Katey could whip up a good soup to go with some of the other pieces and parts!
 
I'll probably have to revert back to the old hand calls since I had these to front teeth pulled can't see using a mouth call with a partial plate in my mouth.

I have a Model 12 cached in the house, loaded with buckshot, the camera is in my daypack in the man cave. I am just not interested in turkey's. They are across the road right now gobbling up a storm!
