Well temptation and 54 miles brought me down again. So I took a trip to Winnemucca to give in to this disorder that a few of us have here. RADD

A NIB 2013 Shot Show Special M70 FW 7X57 it has decent wood and trigger all I'm waiting for is brass and a set of rings. Thinking a set of Talleys.

Good call.
Hate it when they follow me home.
Neat rifle and chambering.
Dewey

Congratulations on a beautiful rifle and a classic cartridge. Incidentally, I ran my hands over the same rifle at Sportsman's on the way home tonight. Very tempting!

Yeah, me too. I have no idea how that trail of dollar bills appears behind me as I walk away resolutely refusing to buy a thing. Hehehe...

I think you're gonna like that rifle, Jake. The new 70s are great rifles!

Do yourself a favor and get an "Ernie the Gunsmith" trigger spring for it, especially if it has the MOA trigger. I used one on my .25-06 w/MOA trigger and my results are phenomenal (but I may have clipped a turn off the spring---I can't remember because I've slept about 600 times since then.

We will find out I do need to order some springs. I got 3 classics and an MOA. Might as well make a double order.

Yes I looked at it last night on my way home then went back for it today. You might do the same!

Good looking rifle in a classic cartridge. You have every right to be pleased.

Very nice, a great caliber and rifle combination.

SJB358 probably has some excellent load data.

Jake,

Very nice! She is a "Classic" for sure.
The 150 gr ABLR and PT would cover you well for what ever you would hint with the 7x57.

Very nice Jake. It's a slick rifle. You have H414/W760. That should work slick. As does RL17.

I would love my own 7mm Mauser. My sons real fond of his.

Thanks guys. I've been contemplating one since Febuary but the ones I've seen we're all priced pretty high this one was right.
